Massachusetts High School Softball - Marblehead can't hold off Gloucester
April 12, 2023: Gloucester, MA 01930 The Gloucester Fishermen softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Marblehead Magicians to 3 in the Fishermen league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Gloucester improves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Fishermen host North Reading (North Reading, MA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Friday, April 14. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Magicians confront the Salem Witches (Salem, MA) in a Northeast battle, on Friday, April 14. Marblehead will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Witches go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA).
