Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC), 67-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Panther Creek upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Catamounts travel to Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to clash with the Mustangs in a 4A Conference 29 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Apex Friendship will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.
