The Bells Panthers basketball team (Bells, TX), was toppled 56-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gunter Tigers (Gunter, TX)

The Tigers now possess a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henrietta for a non-league battle on Friday, January 20. Gunter will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 61-57 league loss to Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 4-21.

The Panthers (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region II District 11 battle with a 11-14 record. In their last battle, Blue Ridge was toppled by Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX), 65-47, in a league battle.
