Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge thwarts Corner Canyon

The Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) basketball knocked off the host Corner Canyon Chargers (Draper, UT), 59-51 in Tuesday's league test.

The Sentinels (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Riverton (Riverton, UT). The Silverwolves go into the 6A Region 2 test with a 3-13 record. In their last test, Riverton went down by Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT), 50-25, in a league test.

The Chargers now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bingham for a 6A Region 2 test on Thursday, January 25. Corner Canyon will encounter a Miners squad coming off a 49-42 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Miners record now stands at 11-6.
