Texas High School Basketball - River Road tops Happy
November 20, 2023: Amarillo, TX 79108 River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Happy Cowboys (Happy, TX), 47-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, River Road upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Highland Park (Amarillo, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 21. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Highland Park lost 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Vega Longhorns (Vega, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Happy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 58-21 non-league win over White Deer (White Deer, TX).
