Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) and the visiting Lincoln Patriots (Sioux Falls, SD), saw Mitchell's basketball squad wallop Lincoln by a tally of 59-37.

With the victory, Mitchell improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Kernels host Harrisburg (Harrisburg, SD) to battle the Tigers in a AA contest on Tuesday, January 24. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 8-2. Harrisburg lost 36-34 in their recent league contest against Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD)

The Patriots (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Warriors come into the AA contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Washington triumphed over Marshall (Marshall, MN), 63-50, in a non-league contest.
