Maryland High School Basketball - St. Charles crushes Chopticon
February 7, 2022: Waldorf, MD 20602 St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 73-45 in a league bout.
With the win, St. Charles upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland bout on Wednesday, February 9. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-13. Calvert lost 68-27 in their recent league bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD)
Next up, the Braves play the Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 10. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 66-57 league win over Northern (Owings, MD).
