In Wednesday's league match, the visiting St. Charles basketball team scored a tight 72-69 triumph over the Northern Patriots.

In their next game, the meet the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Friday, February 4. St. Charles will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 71-65 league loss to La Plata (La Plata, MD).

With the defeat, Northern moves to 5-8 on the year. The Patriots travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to meet the Raiders in a Southern Maryland match on Friday, February 4.
