Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Sharyland Rattlers (Mission, TX) and the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX), saw Sharyland's baseball squad knock off Veterans Memorial by a count of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Rattlers play the Harlingen South Hawks (Harlingen, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 5. Sharyland will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 14-1 non-league loss to Pioneer (Mission, TX).

The Chargers now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Porter for a 5A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, March 9. Veterans Memorial will play a Cowboys squad coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to McAllen (McAllen, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-2.
