The Thornton Trojans routed the visiting Gateway Olympians basketball team by a final score of 39-16 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) in a 5A/4A Colorado game, on Tuesday, February 6. Thornton will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 8-10 record after their 51-44 league loss to Adams City (Commerce City, CO).
