Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mid Valley topples North Pocono

December 9, 2022: Throop, PA 18512

In Friday's non-league outing, the Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), by a margin of 37-27.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Lake-Lehman was topped by Lakeland (Jermyn, PA), 65-49, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Holy Cross for a non-league outing on Wednesday, December 14. North Pocono will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 42-36 non-league win over Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-1.
