Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bridgeland Bears (Cypress, TX) and the host Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX), saw Bridgeland's basketball squad hold off Alief Taylor by a count of 45-44.

With the victory, Bridgeland upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mansfield (Mansfield, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mansfield won 60-21 in their recent non-league challenge against George Ranch (Richmond, TX)
