The Saguaro Sabercats baseball team (Scottsdale, AZ), was overwhelmed 13-3 in Friday's league outing with the host Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ)

The Wildcats now hold a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seton Catholic for a 4A Desert Sky outing on Tuesday, March 29. Mesquite will confront a Sentinels team coming off a 17-3 non-league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Sentinels record now stands at 13-3.

Next, the Sabercats confront the American Leadership Academy Patriots (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky outing, on Tuesday, March 29. Saguaro will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Patriots go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 14-2 league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ).
