Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 78-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Springfield upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Poland Seminary won 66-58 in their recent league bout against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Friday, January 21. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
