Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mathews Mustangs (Vienna, OH), 59-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Pymatuning Valley upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Lakers host Badger (Kinsman, OH) to clash with the Braves in a Northeastern bout on Thursday, December 15. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Badger won 47-28 in their recent league bout against Maplewood (Cortland, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) in a Northeastern bout, on Saturday, December 17. Mathews will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
