The Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) basketball crushed the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 61-34 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record.

The Knights now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to West Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 test on Tuesday, January 31. Scranton will encounter a Invaders squad coming off a 53-49 non-league win over North Pocono (Covington Township, PA). The Invaders record now stands at 9-8.
