December 19, 2022: Skillman, NJ 08559 The Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 24-19 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their test against North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ). The Lions go into the Skyland - Raritan test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, North Hunterdon was tipped by Watchung Hills Regional (Warren, NJ), 50-43, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Steinert for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Hamilton will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 61-24 non-league loss to Henderson (West Chester, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
