January 27, 2024: Tyler, MN 56178 The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights to 57 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pipestone for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Southwest Minnesota Christian will battle a Arrows team coming off a 82-59 league win over St. James (St. James, MN). The Arrows record now stands at 10-5.
The Knights (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN). The Patriots enter the A Section 3 contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Hills-Beaver Creek was defeated by George-Little Rock (George, IA), 53-45, in a non-league contest.
