The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and held the visiting Mountain Lake/Comfrey to 73 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murray County Central for a A Section 3 contest on Monday, February 26. Southwest Minnesota Christian will meet a Rebels team coming off a 64-51 league win over Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 15-12.
The (22-3) will now prepare for their contest against Adrian/Ellsworth (Adrian, MN). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 3-23 record. In their last contest, Adrian/Ellsworth was defeated by Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 75-39, in a league contest.
