January 25, 2024: Mountain Lake, MN The Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Edgerton Flying Dutchmen (Edgerton, MN), 73-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The (12-1) will now prepare for their test against Westbrook-Walnut Grove (Westbrook, MN). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 2-16 record. In their last test, Westbrook-Walnut Grove was trounced by Murray County Central (Slayton, MN), 83-52, in a league test.
The Flying Dutchmen now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Adrian/Ellsworth for a A Section 3 test on Saturday, January 27. Edgerton will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 93-58 league loss to Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (Tyler, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 2-11.
