The Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX) basketball crushed the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), 90-37 in Tuesday's league test.

The Mustangs (23-9) will now prepare for their test against Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Rattlers go into the 5A Region IV District 30 test with a 21-13 record. In their last test, Rio Grande City walloped Roma (Roma, TX), 57-43, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 2-31 record. They play next when they host Roma for a 5A Region IV District 30 test on Friday, February 9. Juarez-Lincoln will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 57-43 league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 3-21.
