Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN), 65-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Greenfield-Central upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Flashes in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Flashes go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Franklin Central won 57-47 in their recent league bout against Avon (Avon, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. New Castle will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 18-2 record after their 60-48 non-league win over Richmond (Richmond, IN).
