Indiana High School Basketball - Southmont trounces Riverton Parke

January 13, 2024: Montezuma, IN 47862

The Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) basketball crushed the host Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN), 57-30 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Mounties (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Covington (Covington, IN). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Covington was trounced by Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN), 66-50, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to North Central for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Riverton Parke will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 70-38 non-league win over Vincennes Rivet (Vincennes, IN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-6.
