The Waterloo Pirates (Waterloo, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI), 64-61 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Horicon (Horicon, WI). The Marshmen go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Horicon was tipped by Oakfield (Oakfield, WI), 66-30, in a league test.
