October 14, 2022: Hot Springs, VA 24445 The Eastern Montgomery Mustangs football team (Elliston, VA), was beaten 33-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA)
The Chargers (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Craig County (New Castle, VA). The Rockets come into the Pioneer challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Craig County was beaten by Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 41-7, in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Narrows for a Pioneer match on Friday, October 21. Eastern Montgomery will clash with a Green Waves squad coming off a 44-38 league win over Covington (Covington, VA). The Green Waves record now stands at 6-1.
