The Jordan-Matthews Jets basketball team (Siler City, NC), was overwhelmed 63-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC)

The Vikings now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montgomery Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 14. Union Pines will confront a Timberwolves team coming off a 77-39 non-league loss to Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Timberwolves record now stands at 2-3.
