North Carolina High School Basketball - Foard trounces Cherryville

The Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), 62-17 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Hibriten walloped Maiden (Maiden, NC), 70-33, in a non-league test.

The Ironmen now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Lincoln for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Cherryville will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 59-51 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 3-2.
