December 11, 2023: Vancouver, WA 98665 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Columbia River Rapids (Vancouver, WA) and the visiting Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA), saw Columbia River's basketball squad overcome Mark Morris by a tally of 69-58.
With the victory, Columbia River improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA) to confront the Hawks in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Hockinson won 52-50 in their recent league challenge against Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA)
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Woodland Beavers (Woodland, WA) in a 2A Greater St. Helens challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Mark Morris will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 66-62 league win over Fort Vancouver (Vancouver, WA).
