The Northwestern Area Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Waubay/Summit Mustangs to 34 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmot (Wilmot, SD). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Wilmot ran past Langford (Langford, SD), 45-27, in a league contest.
