Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN), 4-3 in a league test.

With the win, Cowan upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Blackhawks host Knightstown (Knightstown, IN) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 27. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-5. Knightstown lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Centerville (Centerville, IN)

With the defeat, Monroe Central falls to 4-11 on the season. The Golden bears travel to Wes-Del (Gaston, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Mid-Eastern test on Thursday, April 27.
