The Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), 85-44 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Hawks (18-0) will now prepare for their test against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Nikiski was trounced by Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK), 63-29, in a league test.
