Minnesota High School Basketball - Providence Academy overwhelms Edison
February 12, 2022: Plymouth, MN 55446 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Providence Academy Lions (Plymouth, MN) and the visiting Edison Tommies (Minneapolis, MN), saw Providence Academy's basketball squad wallop Edison by a tally of 79-56.
With the victory, Providence Academy improves its record to 15-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN) to confront the Fire in a AA Section 5 challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Fire come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Holy Family Catholic lost 68-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN)
Next up, the Tommies confront the North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) in a AA Section 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 15. Edison will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Polars come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 76-70 non-league win over Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN).
