Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) and the visiting Portola Tigers (Portola, CA), saw Quincy's basketball squad hold off Portola by a tally of 79-72.

With the victory, Quincy improves its record to 21-4 on the campaign.

Next up, the Tigers play the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Portola will attempt to improve on its 20-5 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 13-12 record after their 60-50 league loss to Weed (Weed, CA).
