In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), by a margin of 59-49.

The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record. In their last outing, Cox Mill was beaten by Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 47-33, in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host James Kenan for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. New Hanover will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 66-22 non-league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
