Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA) and the host Central Hawks (Talbotton, GA), saw Macon County's basketball squad wallop Central by a tally of 85-55.

With the victory, Macon County improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Wilcox County (Rochelle, GA) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Wilcox County lost 65-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA)

Next up, the Hawks play the Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) in a A D2 Region 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 78-28 league win over Webster County (Preston, GA).
