The Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) softball routed the host Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), 16-3 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Thunder (13-4) will now prepare for their bout against Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Pumas go into the non-league bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Perry notched a victory over Basha (Chandler, AZ), 6-4, in a league bout.

The Pride now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Desert Ridge for a 6A Central bout on Wednesday, March 30.
