The Monroe Golden Tornadoes basketball team (Albany, GA), was toppled 56-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets (Thomasville, GA)

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cairo for a AAAA Region 1 battle on Friday, January 14. Thomas County Central will confront a Syrupmakers team coming off a 59-25 league loss to Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 3-10.
