In Wednesday's league challenge, the South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), by a final score of 9-0.

With the win, South Stokes upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Sauras travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. West Stokes won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Reagan (Pfafftown, NC)

With the defeat, Alleghany falls to 1-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to battle the Villains in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 16. The Villains come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Bishop McGuinness lost 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC)
