The Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) basketball nipped the visiting Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC), 52-50 in Wednesday's league test.

The Monarchs (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Woodson (Washington, DC). The Warriors go into the DCSAA AA test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Woodson was tipped by Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC), 56-51, in a league test.

The Ramblers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a DCSAA AA test on Friday, December 17. Eastern will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 70-56 league win over Dunbar (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-1.
