The Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) basketball knocked off the host Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE), 43-35 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Vikings (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Hastings (Hastings, NE). The Tigers go into the B District 7 test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Hastings went down by Bennington (Bennington, NE), 63-24, in a non-league test.

The Huskies now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kearney Catholic for a non-league test on Monday, January 29. Aurora will encounter a Stars squad coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE). The Stars record now stands at 8-7.
