In Friday's non-league match, the host Fergus Golden Eagles football squad scored a good 21-0 victory over the Laurel Locomotives.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Sidney Eagles (Sidney, MT) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 8. Fergus will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 0-2 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Lockwood (Billings, MT).
