Texas High School Football - Veterans Memorial topples Donna

October 29, 2021: Brownsville, TX 78520

The Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) football defeated the visiting Donna Redskins (Donna, TX), 29-7 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Pace Vikings (Brownsville, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 16 bout, on Friday, November 5. Veterans Memorial will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 41-21 league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX).

The Redskins (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Porter (Brownsville, TX). The Cowboys enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 16 bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Porter lost by McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX), 38-21, in a league bout.
