Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX), saw Veterans Memorial's basketball squad hold off Dripping Springs by a count of 47-42.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) to play the Mules in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, December 31. The Mules come into the challenge with a record of 11-7.

Next up, the Tigers play the Lehman Lobo (Kyle, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, December 31. Dripping Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
