Maine High School Basketball - Cheverus crushes Deering
December 23, 2023: Portland, ME 04103 Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Deering Rams (Portland, ME), 61-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cheverus upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Stags host Scarborough (Scarborough, ME) to clash with the Red Storm in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Red Storm go into the bout with a record of 5-0. Scarborough won 61-23 in their recent league bout against Massabesic (Waterboro, ME)
Next up, the Rams clash with the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Deering will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record.
