The Tigers now sport a 15-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pottsboro for a 3A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, January 4. Gunter will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 20-3.
The Indians (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lubbock Christian (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Lubbock Christian prevailed over Merkel (Merkel, TX), 53-33, in a non-league battle.
