North Carolina High School Football - East Wake routed by West Johnston
September 28, 2022: Benson, NC 27504 The East Wake Warriors football team (Wendell, NC), was ripped 48-12 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC)
The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Smithfield-Selma was ripped by Fike (Wilson, NC), 42-14, in a league challenge.
The Warriors now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hunt for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 6. East Wake will meet a Warriors team coming off a 50-2 non-league win over Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.
