The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) and the visiting Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV), saw Hurricane's volleyball squad beat Hoover by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Hurricane upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Redskins travel to Hedgesville (Hedgesville, WV) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 20-2. Hedgesville won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV)

The Huskies now own a 17-2 record. They play next when they host Roane County for a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 6.
