The Gilroy Mustangs tipped the host Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors basketball team by a final score of 50-44 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) in a game, on Friday, January 12. Gilroy will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record.

With the defeat, Yerba Buena moves to 1-7 on the year. The Aztec warriors host Capuchino (San Bruno, CA) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, December 27.
