The Lexington Minutemen basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Fisher Bunnies to 54 in the Minutemen league victory on Friday.

The Minutemen now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart of Illinois contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Bunnies (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Storm come into the non-league contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Salt Fork prevailed over Iroquois West (Gilman, IL), 39-37, in a league contest.
