Ohio High School Basketball - Monroe Central succumbs to River

February 28, 2024: Hannibal, OH 43931

The River Pilots topped the visiting Monroe Central Seminoles basketball team by a final score of 52-37 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pilots face the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 2. River will attempt to move on its 21-3 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 23-2 record after their 45-36 non-league win over Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH).

With the defeat, Monroe Central moves to 19-6 on the year.
